Recognising extraordinary donors

The University of Birmingham was built on philanthropy. 120 years ago, Joseph Chamberlain raised the funds from local individuals and companies to construct the campus, so that he could change the lives of the people of Birmingham.

Today’s philanthropists continue to work with the University to change young lives, to make a difference to our city, and to improve the world for future generations. Our three recognition circles express our gratitude and acknowledge the impact of those who are making especially significant gifts to support students, research and the campus.
